My, my this morello cherry pie
This little rave is a little late in coming, but I do firmly believe in the old adage that it’s better late than never, especially when it comes to doing and sharing something good (it is never too late to write that thank you note, or write that email you were supposed to send three months ago). So the same applies to this morello cherry pie by the good bakers and brothers, Jonathan and Sean Gwee.
While their pies are admittedly pricey, they are chock full of honest to goodness ingredients, and top of the line produce, as is expected of this young, entrepreneurial and extremely passionate duo. I am a huge fan of the pumpkin (which Nabs brought for Thanksgiving dinner), the morello cherry pie (sweet and sour cherries encased in a savoury shell), and the pecan pie – the filling really is quite addictive.
