If you’re one for hosting at home, then you’re going to want to read this article by Jim Meehan, the mixologist most renown for helping to rebuild the cocktail program over at the Gramery Tavern. Jim currently runs his own joint, PDT (it stands for Please Don’t Tell), a hidden cocktail lounge in the East Village that’s got one of the greatest menus in town. If you remember, it’s his recipe that I use to whip up that house favourite: Breakfast in a Glass. So you know he can be counted on for some mad good mixing advice.

Take his tips to heart, if you’ve spent good money stocking your home bar and whipping up a fine meal to match, then why not make sure the cocktails do your cooking justice?
